Hello everyone, and a very happy August Bank Holiday to you if you’re in the UK.  As usual it is wet and horrid outside, fairly typical of an English Bank Holiday really.

But not to worry because I’m here with something to make you smile!

To make this, I have used Stylecraft Linen Drape from Love Crochet.com and it is simply perfect for this top.

The drape and fit of this design flatters all figures, and ALL of my lovely pattern testers loved it.

Doesn’t it just look so lovely on each of them?!

You can make the arms as loose and drapey as you like, or have them more fitted (as in the picture on the far right.)

I can honestly say that this Stylecraft Linen Drape cotton is by far the best I have created with so far, it’s an absolute dream.  It gives amazing stitch definition, drapes beautifully, and comes in some very beautiful colours too.

So, if you visit my Love Crochet pattern store, you can grab this for FREE for ONE WEEK ONLY!

After that it becomes a paid pattern.

You can also find the pattern on Ravelry and on Etsy.

I’m offering this free because I hit my target of 400 followers on Instagram by Sunday. In fact that target was smashed! Smiles.

If you follow me on Love Crochet or Ravelry I will follow you back.

You can also follow me on Instagram and in my Facebook Group here.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Tulip Sweater Crochet Pattern.

Goodbye June and hello July.

Can you believe how quickly this year is passing so far?  One minute we are in deepest winter with snow in Cornwall (yes you read that correctly.) And the next we are in extremely hot temperatures and June has passed us by already.

June has shown the hottest temps in ten years in our lovely part of the world.  So what on earth prompted me to create a sweater pattern??!! Tulip Sweater Front Cover Photo

Well it’s quite simple really.  I first started designing this back in April/May, when the evenings were still very very cool.. As it happens, this sweater still comes in handy when we take our Black Lab, Ollie, for his late night walks.  We have to wait until the heat of the day is completely gone, before we walk him, as he really does not do well with any kind of heat at all.

My daughter goes away on her school residential trip on the 8th of this month, and on her kit list it states “something warm for the evenings” so, not only can you buy this Tulip Sweater pattern in adult sizes, you can purchase it in child size too!  :0)

(Christine absolutely adores this sweater, and keeps asking can she wear it now?) Grins.

I have created a Mummy & Me Bundle which gives you the two patterns together, for a massively discounted price.

If you would like it on Ravelry then click here.  If purchasing here, simply add both patterns to your cart, and your lovely discount will be applied automatically for you! :0)

Silver

I have made three of these so far, using Buttermilk, Graphite, and Silver, all Stylecraft Special Double Knit yarn shades.  It is soft, easy to work with, and wears so well too.  Perfect for a sweater that is clearly going to be much loved, and worn a lot.  Smiles.Folded

I have created a pattern that is very quick to work up, very easy to follow, and turns out just beautifully.

Here is a comment which was left for me at the weekend (it made my whole week!) :0)

How cool is that?! Big happy smiles.

All you need for this pattern, is a 6mm hook (J size) and (starting from 20” chest in the child size, all the way up to 42” chest in the adult size) is 2 to 5 balls of Stylecraft Special Double Knit yarn.

Oh and a stitch marker.

I designed this sweater from the top down, it is seamless and the only sewing involved is the weaving in of your ends, if you don’t work them in as you crochet.

Here’s how it looks in a self striping yarn.  Fabulous isn’t it?!

This one was created by one of my lovely pattern testers, and I loved it instantly!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
