The image and backing is framed using my Go Kreate Large Frames Frilly No 7 Dies.

My stripey papers are from my Kool Dude digital paper set from Michelle Roos Designs.GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The base card is Kraft and I got it from Printable Heaven.

The kraft card I used to matt and layer with is from my krafty shelf.

This is the one day of the week that my day isn’t starting at 5.30 am and I fully intend to make the most of it and not move until at least 7.30.  Smiles.

Today’s card features one of Amy Doodle Stamp Co.’s brand new release images.

He is called Rocky Rackoon and he is just utterly adorable!!  ;0)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The card base is my own design which I cut out  on my Silhouette Cameo.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The papers I have used are from Bella Gypsy Designs.

To bring this cute little fella to life I used my Copics in the following shades;

GE DIGITAL CAMERA Barrel.  GE DIGITAL CAMERA Apple Core.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA Apples.  GE DIGITAL CAMERA Grass.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA Rocky Raccoon.

The sky was done with my Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink and my White Opaque Copic Paint.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The sentiment is an old one that I already had printed off and I’m so sorry, but I can’t remember whose it is.  It could be (possibly) a Create With TLC one.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I used Bella Gypsy Design Paper on the insert also.

An All Dressed Up Window

Hello everyone!

I’m bringing you another tutorial today.

I thought that as Christmas is growing ever nearer I would show you all how to make a quick & easy acetate window card.  Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Ok, what you will need to create this.

A Star Is Born (All Dressed Up Stamps.)

Timeless Rectangle Spellbinders Die Set.

Snowflake Acetate.

Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink.

White Opaque Copic Paint.

Encrusted Jewels Frantage Set.

Copics.

2 Pieces Thick white swirl embossed card. (Hunky Dory.)

Blue Ribbon (Wide so that you can fold in the middle for added depth.)

Double Sided Tape.

3D Glue. (Clear.)

Craft Knife & Ruler.

Gullotine.

Okay?  All set?  Great! Then let’s get started!  Smiles.

Step one

Cut one piece of your cardstock to measure 8” x 8”.

Cut your other piece to measure 8” x 11”.

Step two

Set your 8” x 8” square aside for now.

Take your 8” x 11” piece of card and score 3” in from one short edge.  Fold and burnish with your embossing too.

This piece now measures 8” x 8” square too.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Step three

Mark out a 6” x 6” box (you will have a 1” border all around your card.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Now cut it out with your craft knife.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Step four

Place double sided tape around the edges of your aperture (on the inside of the card. Not the front.)

Now trim your acetate to measure 7 3/4” x 7 3/4” square.

Stick to the inside over your double sided tape.

Stick your 8” x 8” card piece to the 3” folded overlap to form your card.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Step five

Take your left over strip of acetate and score then fold it in half.

Trim it to an 8” width.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Step six

Now stick this into your card (using double sided tape.)

Line the fold up with the fold of your card.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Now you are ready to stick in your image and decorate your card.

(You need to stick your image onto the top facing edge of the acetate.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERAt

So that when it’s all done it will look like this from the side.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Voila!  Now you’re all done!  Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

To bring this gorgeous All Dressed Up beauty to life, I used my Copics in these shades;

GE DIGITAL CAMERA Clothes.  GE DIGITAL CAMERA Skin.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA Staff.  GE DIGITAL CAMERA Sheep.

I also used my Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink for the background, along with my Encrusted Jewels Frantage Kit, and my White Opaque Copic paint.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Lovely isn’t it?  Are you feeling all Christmassy yet?  I know that I am! Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

As a finishing touch I took some of my old snowflake embellishments and sprayed them with my Diamond Pearls glitter spray.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

My ribbon is from my stash.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I used an extra wide ribbon so that I could fold it in half and add some real depth to the front of the card.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I loved bringing this cute little image to life so very much!!!  ;0)
