The Perfect Pear.

Hello Everyone and a very Happy Monday to you all!

How are you today? I hope you had a great weekend.

On Saturday we saw our girl off on her French Trip. She is there for a week, and just to get there is 23 hour trip. To say I am missing her greatly is a massive understatement.

As I type this post all I can think of his her sweet sense of humour and beautiful smile.

So I really want to dedicate this post (and my card) to her.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

This one is the newest release from My Whimsical Little World.

As soon as I saw this I knew that I wanted to bring it to life using my Polychromo pencils.

I wanted that special grainy texture that you can’t get with Copics and Smooth Card.

It is called Perfect Pear and to bring it to life I used these colours:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

175. 167. 166. 176. 205. 104. 102.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

To create my card base, I used white hammer card.

The green, highly textured card is really old and I had to dig deep to find it. Grins.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I think this green card is “pearfect” for the image – don’t you?!

The pearls are white ones which I coloured with my Copics.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The sentiment is one which I created, and I am so very happy to tell you that it comes as part of the download when you purchase the Pear image in store!

(Yes I’m grinning madly here. Tee hee.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I chose to go really CAS in style with this one. The most raised part of the whole card is those Copic Coloured Pearls.

I wanted the pear to pop right off the page on it’s own, and I hope that I achieved that.

Don’t forget – you can get  this month’s PC image for free if you are a part of our Progressive Challenge here on Facebook.

If not, and you would like to get next month’s fabby image for free, all you need to do to join in is to purchase The Little Prince at HALF PRICE for the first two weeks of the challenge. Create something with him and enter into the correct album in our Facebook group.
