Awww Poor Slicker Guy!

Don’t you just feel so sorry for Mustache Slicker Guy?

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

He is wet. He is muddy. Look at his flushed cheeks! I personally think he just wants to get home and be nice and cosy. Tee hee.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA7

To bring Mustache Guy Slicker (from Little Miss Muffet Stamps) to life I used my Distress Markers in these colours:-

Skin – Vintage Photo.  Tattered Rose.

Cheeks – Aged Mahogany.

Slicker & Hat, Wellingtons & Umbrella – Peacock Feathers. Pumice Stone.

Muddy Puddle & Mud Splashes – Gathered Twigs.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The string is from my crafty cupboard, and the cloud dies are Lawn Fawn.

The sentiment is handwritten with White Uniball Pen.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

That lil birdie charm is recycled from a candle decoration.  I think he is just perfect for this card. Smiles.

I’ve had this thing going on since the New Year whereby I make a LOT more male cards, but I realised the other day that I don’t have general male cards.. only birthday.

So now my next mission is more variation in my male themed cards.. either that or to create cards that can used for anything.

The first installment of my mission is this Get Well card. Grins.

Ice, Ice, Bailey!

Hello everyone!

I am very pleased to be showing you this card today.

I am excited for two reasons.. one being that I am Guest DT for Through The Craft Room Door for this week, and two I am beyond proud with how this ice wall/card turned out.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Isn’t that just awesome?!

Seriously though, how many times have you made something and being in awe of it once it is done?

I can honestly tell you that for me it isn’t that often.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

This beautiful image is a new winter one from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and she is called Candy Floss Crew Winter Bailey.

To bring this scene to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Body Warmer & Leggings.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Boots.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Hair.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

That amazing Ice Wall!! :0)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Jumper.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Lower Top & Hat.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Skin Tones.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Snow Floor.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I learnt this awesome ice wall technique from Kit & Clowder Create & Learn monthly markers class.

And the whole scene was created with just my normal HB Pencil, and my Copics & White Uniball Pen. Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Just look at all of that delicious sparkle! Grins.

The snow flake dies are Sweet Dixes from That Craft Place.

And that gorgeous bit of bling in the centre there is done with my Shimmer Stickers by Papermania.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

That gorgeous, glittery card is very old, and I was delighted to find a box of all different colours hiding at the bottom of my draw.

The purple layer card is from Papermill Direct.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

If you head on over to Through The Craft Room Door, you’ll be able to see all of the DT’s fabulous creations.

Plus, if you join in (the theme is always anything goes) you’ll be in with a chance of winning the lovely sponsor prize of a die from the Frantic Stamper store.

Good morning everyone & a very happy Saturday to you!

Today I am blogging a Christmas card with a handmade background.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The image is cropped somewhat in it’s frame, so further down the page I have added a full version for you to see.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The image I have used for this Christmas card is Penguin Willie North Pole and he is available from Scrapper’s Delights.

If you look at this close up you will see the awesome Snowflake Acetate I have used, between my scallop frame and my image.

I just love that stuff!

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

This is my image in full.

Everything is brought to life with my Copics.

The ice wall is hand drawn with pencil and Copics, and I am immensely proud of it. Smiles.

This is actually the second card I have made using this ice wall technique, but first card I did won’t be blogged until Tuesday.

I learnt this technique from August’s Create & Learn Markers Class over at Kit & Clowder.
