That Craft Place New Releases..

… And Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! And a very happy Saturday to you all.  Today is a really good day for me. Not only are we having a fabulous blog hop for our brand new Christmas Release over at That Craft Place, but we (in our house) are putting up our Christmas Tree today! Oh yes!

So excited! Smiles.

Anyway, let’s get sharing some Christmas Cuteness with you all!

I wanted to create tags for my hop projects. I have always been really terrible at  making them, and they were turning into a huge fear of mine.

So – wanting to conquer my failings – I sat down and just went for it.  The more I have made, the better they have got. Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

This first tag I made using Christmas Reindeer from the TCP Etsy Store.

To bring him to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Boots.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Nose.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Reindeer.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Scarf and Mitts.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

My lovely red Gem Stems & Pins are from That Craft Place store.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

As is my fabulous Christmas Ribbon and Hessian.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The sentiment is my own, computer generated one.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Tag number two I created using Christmas Penguin.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

To bring him to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Beak & Feet.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Hat & Scarf.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Penguin.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Just look at the delicious shine on that festive paper!

I love it! (It’s very old, from the NEC the one time I was lucky enough to go.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

My 3rd tag, I created out of Snowflake Acetate (available from That Craft Place too.)

I am SO VERY PLEASED with how this one turned out!

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

For this one, I used this gorgeous little image called Christmas Bubbles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

To bring her to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Coat & Hat.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Of course I had to show you a close up of my Dazzler!! Grins. Just look at that sparkle!!!

(It doesn’t take much to make me smile.)

Oh Baby Baby!

Hello everyone, I’m here today with a baby card.

I’m not sure who it will go to eventually. Perhaps my daughter next year, as a congratulatory card on NOT having twins.

You see, I’m a twin, my Nanna was a twin. My Nanna’s Grandmother was a twin. So therefore there was a good chance my daughter would have twins. Grins. But her first scan has shown that she has got away with it. Hmm.. maybe this card will be good as a little joke. Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I bought & coloured this image (which comes with clothes & accessories) to take part in the Dress Up competition in the Faery Ink Facebook Group.

But I loved them so much when I finished them this morning, I decided to put them onto a card.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The image is called (quite simply) Twins. To bring them to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Dress & Headband.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Dress Trim.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Eyes. (Girl.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Skin. (Girl.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Tee Shirt.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Vest & Nappy (Daiper.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Eyes. (Boy.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Skin. (Boy.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I made my card base from a 16” x 16” piece of Pearlescent cardstock, which I made into a 7” x 7”.  Then I scored diagonal lines in two opposite directions before adding white pearls.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

My flowers are all from Petal Lu. I just love these flowers.  All handmade and so beautiful.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

So Sorry.

Good morning everyone.

I’m here with my mid week inspiration for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Our challenge theme has been changed slightly this fortnight from it’s original to Thanks or Support, as we all felt we had to do something after the terrible events in Paris.

So it was decided that we would all go with the Tri Colour for our makes, and this is what I came up with.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

To create this card I used Jnr Hatter Frankie from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

I felt she was just perfect for the card that I wanted to make.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

To bring her to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Blues.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Reds.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Hair.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Skin.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

White Shading.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

My ribbons are all from my stash.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The wonderful red, white & blue background I created by cutting out a wavy line on a piece of acetate. I used my Stitched Hill Die by Lawn Fawn to do it. I purchased mine from Dies To Die For.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Then I used my Tim Holtz distress inks, starting from the top of the page and working my way down to the bottom.

Once it was finished I added my Frantage embossing powder with little gold flecks in it. And this is what I ended up with.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

It is so very sparkly and I am so happy with the finished result! For a you tube video on how to do this technique yourself, just click here.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The matting and layering on the other side of the card, I did with my Roy G Biv Core-dinations Card Stock, cut with my Stitched Rectange Dies from By DIEZyne Dies (originally purchased from CC Designs & now available at Dies To Die For.)
