Red Green & Gold.

Good evening everyone!

I am very happy to be showing this ornament tonight. Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I created it using the fabulous Holiday Hair Gabbie from  Faery Ink.

She is one of my absolute favourites and I had so much fun putting this ornament together with her.

To bring Holiday Hair Gabbie to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

Cheek Blush.

Skin.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Hair.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Whites.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Reds.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Greens.

Golds.

This is how I created that gorgeous sparkle!

This is my ornament hanging on the wall by the tree. (Just LOOK at that delicious sparkle!!! )

If you would like to make your own ornament like this, then click here to follow the fabulously talented Vicki on her video tutorial.

This is my base before I added glitters and frantage powder.  The flowers I stuck in place so that they wouldn’t move once my shaker was complete.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

After making my layer of card frame, acetate, and foam frame, I turned it facedown and added my Frantage and Glitters.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I love my Frantage so much!

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Next I lined it all up and stuck the back piece onto my facedown  piece.

(The tag top I created from my La La Lands Crafts Tag Die.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Once all the glue was dry, I flipped it over, and added my hand tied bow.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

The ribbon is an old one from a small Craft Shop I used to live near to.

The Stitched Circle Frame is from my By DIEZyne Circle Die Set.

And the bakers twine is from my crafty cupboard.

We have an awesome Red, Green & Gold challenge happening for the month of December in our Faery Ink FB Group.  You can find the challenge event here.  It is a nice easy one to do, and you can win some fabulous Faery Ink images for taking part. Smiles.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

This is what I  created while playing with just one of those fabulous new images. Smiles.

His name is Footie Fan and to bring him to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Football.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Hair.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Skin Tones.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Shading on White Clothes.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

This is the back of the door hanger.

The laser cut shapes are all available from That Craft Place, as is the actual MDF door hanger. Smiles.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

Yes it started out life like this.

Great fun to play and create with!

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

I wanted the front to look like he is standing in front of a goal net, I do hope that’s what my son thinks when I give him this.

To create the effect I used my Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Acrylic Paint and believe it or not – Bubble Wrap!! I know right! Who would have thought it!

(This is the first time I have tried anything like this and it won’t be my last.)

GE DIGITAL CAMERA

For the back I used my Copic Airbrush system and created the pitch and the sky.

This is only the 3rd time I have used the system so I feel very proud of it!

I added quite a bit of grey into the mix because I was aiming for that soft light you get when day is just thinking of turning into night.

To finish I added the clock and the night stars, and sprayed (liberally) with my Irridescent Glitter Spray.

If you can’t find all that  you  need on the Bricks & Mortar shop website – then another fabulous place to look/join is the TCP shop group on Facebook.

Usually – you can find (or request) pretty much anything you want in there. And the people are awesome too! Smiles.
