GDT For Art By Miran!!

Hello everyone, it’s me again.

(My blog is busy this week. Smiles.)

Today I am very, very proud to be a Guest DT for February’s Anything Goes/Twist Monochrome challenge at Art By Miran.

I chose to play with Gentleman George from Art By Miran – Etsy.

To bring him to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

I decided that a real vintage feel would suit this awesome image perfectly. So I delved in to my February Craft Box, and set to work.

The “design paper” is actually a vintage envelope, which I cut and then inked with my Tim Holtz Wild Honey Distress Ink.  I used this ink to shade around my image too.

My fabulous brass cogs are real working watch parts, which I received in the most fabulous little tin in my Craft Box this month. They are all so awesome!

The image I framed using my By DIEZyne Stitched Rectangles Dies which I originally got from Dies To Die For.

I layered everything onto a cream card base. For this I used cream hammer card @ 300gsm thickness.

The Happy Birthday is hand written, and inked also with my TH Wild Honey Distress ink.

I added another tiny cog piece to the punched hole. The “tag” I cut from a scrap piece of Kraft card.

I hope that you can stop by the blog and join in with the Art By Miran team for their Anything Goes with a twist of Monochrome this month.

I had so much playing along with this one and I know that you will too!

Thank you so much for my GDT this month guys! I really loved it! Smiles.

Hugs & Happy Crafting Everyone!

Thinking Of Spring.

Hello Everyone!

I hope that you all had a fabulous Christmas time.

Ours actually included a tiny amount of sunshine, which is a Christmas miracle right there!

I sat and created this card yesterday, when I found myself with a little chill time. Smiles.

This year has been one of the windiest, wettest on record, and (apart from a couple of hours Christmas day) there hasn’t been much change since August.

So of course my card had to have a spring feel to it, now that all of my Christmas makes are done.  (For now at least.)

This beautiful image is called Fairy Lily, and she is from the fabulous Art By Miran.

Isn’t she just so beautiful?

To bring Fairy Lily to life, I used my Copics in these shades:-

Dress Hem Shoes and Stems

Dress Hem, Shoes, Eyes & Flower Stems.

Gold Wings

All of my gorgeous embellishments are from Live & Love Crafts.

This fabulous blue flower was part of a whole delicious ribbon strip. I cut it off, and then added the white stamen to the centre.  (Also from Live & Love Crafts.)

I also used the left over blue mesh from cutting the blue flower, to sit behind my other floral decorations.

I used the last of my string pearls (sob sob!) and some more white stamen behind my hand tied bow.

My papers are from my Floral Pavillion Paper Pad.

And the purple layer card is my Core-Dinations Roy G Biv Card Book.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

I hope that I have managed to make you feel more spring like too (if you needed it! Smiles.)

Hugs & Happy Crafting Everyone!
