Category Archives: Just Die Cuts

With Love At Christmas.

Good afternoon everyone.

Today I am here with another “just die cuts” card for you. I am really enjoying these types of card at the moment.

I went for another 6 x 6 inch card base, with a snowflake acetate front.

One of the dies I have used are from…You should visit, they provide fantastic customer service, deliver quickly, and stock awesome dies! Smiles.

My top and bottom die cut is from my Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Die Set.

And the die on the inside is my brand new Tattered Lace “With Love At Christmas” Plaque Die – From  This company is fabulous!! This picture truly does not do it justice!

This is to give an idea of the snowflake acetate front with nothing behind it.

That FABULOUS design paper on the base there, is from Michele R Designs and it is called Winter Frost.  The whole set is beautiful.

It was so very difficult to photograph this beautiful card properly. We have had a very dark day here in Cornwall. And it meant I had to use my daylight lamp.  Normally this isn’t a problem, but with Silver Mirror Board, I’m sure you can imagine the reflections I kept getting, and the pure light bounce!

It has taken me most of the afternoon to get these right, so I can only hope you all can see the beauty in the pictures. I love this card. It is so crisp yet sparkly in real life.

But I had truly forgotten how hard it is to photograph mirror card when you I don’t have natural light! Sighs.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugs & Happy Crafting Everyone!

A Krafty Kristmas!

Hello everyone!

I hope your weekend has been good so far.

Today I am bringing you a card with no colouring on it at all. It’s not often I make any of those is it? Smiles.

I can’t tell you just how happy I am with how great this turned out.

You know when you have fabulous idea in your head? But you’re just not sure how well it will actually turn out? Well this one was just like that.

Even when I messed about with swapping the die cuts around before gluing, I still wasn’t sure. It was the very last swap around that brought it all together for me.

The Kraft card, the pink glitter card, the snow drop acetate, and all of the cutting dies are all from That Craft Place.

You can find their online (bricks and mortar) shop here.

Their Facebook shop page (where you can buy lots of extras) here.

Their challenge blog here. (Where we have a brand new Kraft Challenge starting today.)

Their Etsy Store (for all your digis) here.

And their fan page Natter & Chatter here. Smiles.

The sentiment stamp is an old rubber stamp from my stash.  I think it is a Snowman stamp from Crafter’s Companion.

The sentiment die cut is from my Creative Expression – Festive Collection CED3019 die set.

As is the beautiful border I cut for the top and bottom of my card.

My snowflakes are from my Sweet Dixie Designs – Snowflakes Die Set.

You can find them all by visiting the shop links above.

I created this card by cutting a 6 x 7 inch piece of Kraft card.  Then I scored one inch in and folded, so that the back card became a 6 inch square, and the front part hung over by one inch.

Next I  cut my snow drop acetate to measure 6 inch square too.

I then cut another piece of Kraft card to measure 1 x 6 inch.

I glued the acetate to the folded over front part of my Kraft card, then I glued the strip of Kraft to the bottom of the acetate.

My die cut borders I let overhang instead of trimming them. And I am so happy with how the whole finished thing looks.

I do hope that you can come join us for our Kraft Challenge over on the blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugs & Happy Krafting Everyone!
