Easter In Spring & A New Design Team!

Hello everyone and a very happy Saturday to you all!

We’ve been busy creating this morning. Making pirate swords and Easter bonnets too. Great fun! Smiles.

Yesterday’s creating was using this fabulously gorgeous image, new from Conie Fong Art & Design.  And I am so very happy & proud to announce that I am a member of Conie’s brand new Design Team. Huge smiles!

The image is called Easter In Spring, and I am totally in love with her. Tee hee.

Close Up

I experimented a little with my Copics to give her a straw hat. Do you like it?

To bring this darling image to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

My lovely dotted paper is Lawn Fawn Let’s Polka In The Meadow collection, available from Dies To Die For.

The beautiful lace is from Live & Love Crafts, and those  beautiful flowers are handmade from the fabulously talented Petal Lu.

The scalloped card base is from Hobbycraft, and the twine & straws are from my crafty cupboard.

I have coloured on Neenah Solar White Card Stock (my favourite from ALL that I have tried.) And the lovely layer card is from MFT – available from Dies To Die For also.

A Cupcake Kind Of Day!

Hello everyone! And a very happy Thursday to you all.

The weather here has turned for the worst again, but I’m thankful for the little sunshine we saw this week.

Today’s card was created with just a sentiment from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

(You can find it here.)

It is brand new in the store, and oh boy, what fun I had with this one! Smiles.

The cupcake and dotted background were done with my Copics in these shades:-

My beautiful raspberry card is from MFT Stamps which I purchased from the lovely Tracy at Dies To Die For.

My dotty paper is from Lawn Fawn which also came from Dies To Die For.

(I am so happy that they are stocking these fab items!! I don’t have to feel so sad each time I cut any of them up now. As I know that I can easily get more. Tee hee.)

My base card is white hammer card, as is the white strip across the middle of my card.

My sentiment is printed onto Neenan Solar White which I swear by for all of my Copic Colouring.

Don’t forget that we still have our Anything Goes challenge happening over on the challenge blog. This is our midway point, so you still have plenty of time to come join in.

(As always, this card is for sale if you would like it. Just click here to find it.)

The Joy Of A Book!

Hello everyone!

I hope that your week is treating you well.

I thought for a while there that I wasn’t going to be able to blog at all.  My computer hard disk decided to fail last night, and so I have spent the entire day so far, trying to get the children’s netbook (which is so very slow it is only used for homework and nothing else) up and running with my live writer, my cloud storage, and my husband’s business stuff.

It’s overloaded to say the least!

But anyway, after HOURS of slowly editing and watermarking, I can bring you this blog post.  Smiles.

I just love this image so much, and she was perfect for the thank you card that I wanted to make!

The image is called Polka Dot Pals Lirienne and she is from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

To bring her to life I used my Copics in these shades:-

My bow is hand tied, and the ribbon is from my crafty stash.

The Joy frame is a dienamics die from My Favourite Things Stamps, and I thought that the Joy sentiment at the bottom of the die was a perfect fit for my image.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
