Good morning everyone.
I’m here with my mid week inspiration for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
Our challenge theme has been changed slightly this fortnight from it’s original to Thanks or Support, as we all felt we had to do something after the terrible events in Paris.
So it was decided that we would all go with the Tri Colour for our makes, and this is what I came up with.
I felt she was just perfect for the card that I wanted to make.
To bring her to life I used my Copics in these shades:-
My ribbons are all from my stash.
The wonderful red, white & blue background I created by cutting out a wavy line on a piece of acetate. I used my Stitched Hill Die by Lawn Fawn to do it. I purchased mine from Dies To Die For.
Then I used my Tim Holtz distress inks, starting from the top of the page and working my way down to the bottom.
Once it was finished I added my Frantage embossing powder with little gold flecks in it. And this is what I ended up with.
It is so very sparkly and I am so happy with the finished result! For a you tube video on how to do this technique yourself, just click here.
The matting and layering on the other side of the card, I did with my Roy G Biv Core-dinations Card Stock, cut with my Stitched Rectange Dies from By DIEZyne Dies (originally purchased from CC Designs & now available at Dies To Die For.)
